Have you joined me on the Deep Clean Challenges so far this year? We have cleaned the Main Living Areas, Kitchen, Bedrooms, and updated the Emergency Supplies. This month it is time to tackle the Bathrooms! Follow along with the Deep Clean Bathroom Checklist and the job will seem MUCH easier!
I have a Home Binder that includes all sorts of charts to help keep me organized. The Rotating Deep Cleaning Checklists are by far my most used portion of my notebook. When the month turns over, I check which rotation I am on and get to work. By now I have a pretty good idea of each item that needs to be completed, but since I have it all written down, nothing gets forgotten! It has helped me to stay on top of the crazy parts of housekeeping that you wouldn’t normally think of such as cleaning baseboards, blinds, and ceiling fans. Having the whole list printed out ensures that I don’t skip a step.
I have also been trying to really implement more simplicity and embarking on the beginnings of a minimalist lifestyle. I will be getting rid of things that I don’t either use or love. This will include nail polish, makeup, towels, and other bathroom products that we store for no real reason at all.
Also, because my kids are seriously GREAT at cleaning bathrooms, I will have time to tackle the harder to reach spots of the bathroom and decluttering instead of just focusing on getting a bathroom back to usable condition.
Because we have 3 different bathrooms, and our bathrooms seems to align with the standard types of bathrooms, I have made 3 different printable checklists. Just click on the image or the link to print out your own free copy of the checklist!
There is one for a Standard Bathroom:
and a Powder Room:
I also lump our Mud Room (which is really a little nook with a coat closet) in here because it is right off the powder room.
Have fun, and happy cleaning!
