If you’ve been following along for the past few months, I have been sharing my Rotating 6 Month Cleaning Schedule. We have covered the Main Living Areas, Kitchen, Bedrooms, and this month we will be focusing on Outdoor Areas, and Emergency Preparedness. Preparing for an emergency can be a HUGE headache to start from scratch. Don’t worry though, I will have TONS of printables and checklists coming throughout the month to help you get started as simply as possible!
April and October in my Deep Cleaning Schedule contain an assortment of all the things that are easily overlooked. I have tried my best to include all these little maintenance things on this list.
What this Month’s List Includes:
- Various yard, garden, and home exterior projects will be listed. I like the outside of my home to reflect the lifestyle we are going for: clean and clutter-free.
- Ever forget to test the batteries of your smoke detectors, change your air filters, or check the salt in your water softener? All included here!
- Simple car maintenance that can be done at home to keep it clean and presentable.
- And last but not least: Emergency Preparedness. This is going to be a huge focus this month. I am currently in the midst of doing an entire overhaul on our own supplies.
So, here’s the Emergency Preparedness and Outdoor Deep Cleaning Checklist:
Happy Cleaning and Organizing this month!
Thank you for sharing this challenge! I’m probably going to start it today, even though April is almost over. I’m hoping to get my kids involved in the process so we get more done faster, and I plan celebrating the end of the challenge with a professional carpet cleaning. It is the perfect final touch for a clean and decluttered home!
Yes! I love cleaning the carpet for the final touch! Way to go!
