I have a Home Binder that includes all sorts of charts to help keep me organized. The Rotating Deep Cleaning Checklists are by far my most used portion of my notebook. When the month turns over, I check which rotation I am on and get to work. By now I have a pretty good idea of each item that needs to be completed, but since I have it all written down, nothing gets forgotten! It has helped me to stay on top of the crazy parts of house keeping that you wouldn’t normally think of such as cleaning baseboards, blinds, and ceiling fans. Having the whole list printed out ensures that I don’t skip a step.
Mornings can be so stressful. Breakfast, hair, forgotten homework, and the list goes on and on. I feel like I’m going crazy trying to remember who has already done what. My brain can’t handle running through the list of “did you’s” in the morning…
- brush your teeth,
- comb your hair,
- make your bed, etc.
And then to repeat the whole “did you” list again at bedtime? Ugh. No thank you! [Read more…]
Most days in our house run kind of like a well-oiled machine. They have to, otherwise it’s chaos. There are charts and lists all over the house so the kids know at any given point not only what’s expected of them, but also what they can expect from me.
