I have talked quite a bit about Family History over the past couple of months. To finish out this series, I wanted to invite you to check out the easy-to-use website that I have set up to be an added resource to you. The hope is that you will use the materials to teach your class,  learn for yourself, or share with others!

My Family History Class Website

I found that when I was first learning how to do Family History, I would forget so many of the steps and have to open a chat window to be walked through the process again. Because the class I teach is only offered in four 40 minute classes, we cover lots of information very quickly. I created the website www.myfamilyhistoryclass.blogspot.com for people to quickly and easily access all the information to the classes in one stop.

The classes are broken up by week and include Week 1-Week 4. All the PowerPoint presentations and handouts are included as well as the tutorials I have had here on the blog.

I have had people attend my class and refer to the website throughout the week to help jog their memory as to what we did in class. I want it to be a ready reference to all who are wanting to learn to do Family History on their own. Please feel free to share this website with family, friends, anyone and everyone you can think of! If you use it to teach a family history class of your own, tell me how it goes! What did you change, or love? I am always looking for improvements!

Remember the ‘Why’ Behind Family History

To wrap up this series, there is a great video that reaffirms again the importance of Family History and the blessings that come from it.

If you have previously done family history but stopped for various reasons, I hope this series has given you the desire to start up again. If you have always wanted to learn to do family history, but have not been able to figure it out, I hope this series has answered some of your questions. Please let me know if you have any questions. I LOVE family history and love knowing that this has the possibility to be shared with many people!
