Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. We have been brainstorming to come up with a great Valentine for the kids to pass out at school. We have tried the no candy valentine route, but the kids really love passing out candy like all the other kids. When I asked the kids what they wanted to pass out, they all wanted to do something cool. Taking this into consideration, I wanted to make sure it was also low budget and low hassle for me!
If your kids are anything like mine, they love popsicles. We have a few boxes of Otter Pops on hand at all times. They are perfect for hot days, quick treats, late night snacks, and even sick kids. I personally love that they are not messy compared to other popsicles! Since we had so many on hand, I thought we would use these as Valentines for the kids to pass out at school! They were thrilled!
These Valentines are super simple to make. Just print out the free printable: (We printed our strips on card stock so they would be a little more sturdy.)
Have the kids sign their name and cut the strips out, use some double-sided tape to slap those babies on, and you have yourself a super simple valentine!
These are the perfect Valentine especially if you have a bunch of kids to help get ready for the big day. All my kids can cut straight lines and sign their own name. There is no struggle or tears over ripped perforated paper or stickers that won’t keep the valentine shut. And what kid doesn’t love double-sided tape?
Easy, inexpensive, and fun!
