Need an easy way to leave your babysitter with all necessary information? Simply fill out your babysitter information sheet and you’re good to go!
If your day-to-day life is anything like mine, there are millions of little details you are afraid others won’t know about when taking care of your children. Food allergies, off limits activities, and tricks to soothe a crying child. Having everything outlined on one simple sheet will help keep your mind at ease while leaving your kids in the care of a babysitter.
I will be totally honest with you: I hate getting babysitters. I am one that will almost not enjoy most of the date because I am worried. And this is with the excellent crew of babysitters that we have! What do I worry about? The list starts with: someone is going to get hurt, the baby will scream the whole time, or our kids will create one of those epic babysitting stories that is told at every house for years to come.
But by the end of the date I always realize that dates are such an essential part of keeping a marriage strong. Having time to talk to my husband without being interrupted every few seconds is something that only happens on dates.
Babysitter Information Sheet
I prepared this simple sheet to help ease my mind over leaving the kids. All in one easy place it has the info of where we will be and when we will be back, emergency numbers, a place to write the bedtime routine (ours is pretty extensive) and a list of activities they can do with the babysitter until we get home.
Lately the babysitter has come and I’m frazzled and run out the door saying something like: “You remember the routine from last time, right? The kids will remind you if you forget anything.” That’s a little lame if you ask me.
With this sheet, I just keep it in a sheet protector and I, or a kid with legible handwriting can quickly fill out any info that has changed from last time. Easy Peasy!
