In the Christmas Countdown Book, Day 12 reflects on the Baptism of Jesus. See what art, scripture, song, video, and ornament we used to help us remember Christ.

Day 12: The Baptism of Jesus
Start using your Christmas Countdown Book on December 1st. Today would be presented on December 12th. There will be a different subject for each day until Christmas Day, December 25th. The purpose of this Christmas Countdown Book is to help you remember and focus on Jesus Christ during the Christmas season!
13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

I free hand drew and cut out paper doves using inspiration from Pinterest. I found some dove clips for this year that I hope will be more durable with little hands!
